Arts & Historical Museum, Camp Street
Opened in 1984 in the former Primitive Methodist Church
and later clothing factory, Talbot Museum houses the Edwards Collection
of photographs, documents and letters, plus trade and lifestyle
material from an early settler, watchmaker and jeweller, JB Edwards,
and his descendants.
Trace your family roots. Link with other gold era museums, particularly
those in the Villages of the Old Goldfields. Trace Victoria's first
gold discoveries. Be amazed at mining relics and reminded of the way
